Nature Journal Article on Barefoot Running

People who run long distances without shoes cushion the blow with their gait.

Barefoot endurance runners may have a more cushioned ride than most people who run in shoes, according to a biomechanical analysis.

There will be a NON-SANCTIONED group mountain bike ride tonite at 8pm at the Salt Docks in Parry Sound, followed by refreshments.

It will be dark, so lights are required.

Congratulations to the latest Nacho Ironman finisher. Tom finished the Esprit (Iron Distance) Triathlon in Montreal on September 12, 2009 in a time of 11 hrs and 21 minutes.
