Tomorrow morning Steve and I are running 10K from Victory School. We'll depart at 6:30 sharp. See you there!!!!

Congrats to Steve and Chris who participated in this weekend's Wasaga Beach Olympic Distance Triathlon. It was a memorable event... for more reasons than others. For both athletes it was the first time doing that distance, and a good measurement for the upcoming Half Iron distance.

Well this was a good week for running. I had some personal bests and I believe it's because of the speed work that I've been doing.

This weeks schedule is as follows

Mon - off
Tues - Morning intervals with Dave at the kinsman ball diamonds (6-8km)
Wed - 16km
Thurs - time trials and nachos
Fri- off
Sat - 6km ( I'll be up in blind river for the weekend)
Sun - 29km

Hope everyone has had a good summer?! Atleast it has felt like summer for the past couple of weeks. Fall registration begins on Tuesday, September 16th at 7:30am. Please check the new Leisure Guide to make sure you are registering in the correct class. Look forward to seeing everyone back at the pool.

PS If any of you are available, I am looking for some run marshalls for the Terry Fox Run,it is on Saturday, September 13th. I have lost lots of volunteers because of the 70.3 Ironman. If you are able to help please let me know.
